  • Chatuchak Weekend Market – Located right next to Chatuchak Park, this market is a massive draw for Bangkokians and so sprawling that you could never see it all in a single day. Haggling is part of the experience, and you can find everything from hand-carved teak furniture to adorable puppies. Prices are very affordable by international standards, and for larger purchases, many sellers can arrange to export heavy furniture directly to your home country! It is the perfect venue to pick up all the souvenirs you need for friends and family. While you’re there, look for Chatuchak famous artificial plants (known in Thai as Tonmai Plom or ต้นไม้ปลอมจตุจักร), which are remarkably lifelike and look great in any setting.
  • Rama IX Park – Located in Prawet District, Rama IX Park (Suan Luang) is divided into 6 sections; set in an area of more than 500 Rai,and the gardens are in pristine condition. There are many gardeners employed to maintain the high standard that is across the board with National Parks in Thailand. A great place to spend a Sunday; you can hire a bamboo mat, spread it on the lawn and enjoy a family picnic. The park closes its gates at 6 pm and opens at 7 am, and every taxi driver in the city knows where Rama IX Park is located.
  • Fashion Island Shopping Mall– Located on Ram Inthra Road, this epic shopping mall is huge; it even has a fun park on the roof! The top floor is the IT section, where you can buy anything from an iPhone 17 Pro to a state-of-the-art gaming desktop PC, plus there are repair stores where you can get anything fixed. They have a cinema, a bowling alley and 5 floors of shopping with all the typical restaurants you would find in a Bangkok shopping mall.   • Silom Road– A cool place to visit in the evenings, there are a few small markets on the soils where you can buy souvenirs at low There are a few entertainment areas around this part of Bangkok, and let’s not forget the rooftop bars in the big hotels.
