Established in September 2014, Brazen Neighborhood Eatery strives to bring quality food and hospitality to Denver’s West Highland neighborhood, with emphasis on sustainability and vegetables. Brazen bridges the gap between high-end downtown eateries and neighborhood fast casual food. Brazen serves dinner nightly and brunch on the weekends.
Christopher Sargent’s hopping West Highland hangout weds nuanced New American cooking with an easygoing atmosphere that’s as comfortable as Sunday supper with your chums. The charismatic neighborhood gathering place showcases an open kitchen, chef’s counter, community table and bar and a truly laid-back vibe.
With experience in many notable restaurants across the country over the past twenty years, Chris has finally achieved his dream of owning and running his own restaurant. Like many before him, that dream started with humble beginnings at the young age of fifteen, working at a local restaurant in his hometown. Chris developed the skills and knowledge for the restaurant business that has fueled his career to date when he moved to Las Vegas and worked under Oliver Wharton. After this, Chris moved to Denver where he gained more experience at RIOJA and Acorn. Chris is grateful that his path has led him to opening Brazen Neighborhood Eatery, and he is excited to put his touch on hospitality into the West Highlands neighborhood.
